What should i do????????!

Question: I had my sister come up to me today and ask me if she should have sex with a boy. I am in college and she is in High school (Sophomore). She has a friend that is already knocked up.( Also a Sophomore). I can't tell my mom because I promised my sister i wouldn't tell. And she already went to the drug store to get some birth control pill. She hasn't had sex yet but i think she may tonight or in the next two days. She also was talking about a condemn I want to tell but still i can't. Should I tell my mom anyway? Should i just stay with my sister for the next couple of days? Should I take the pills when she is sleeping? What should i do?

my sister was 12 yrs old when she first had sex, i hadnt had sex then either and i was 14, she told me and made me promise not to tell our mum and do you know what, i told our mum, becasue i worried for her, if your worried for your sister tell your mum, your sister will forgive you when she;s older she will realise why you did and thank you for it, if you dont she could be asking same question about her daughter in 15 yrs?

why dont you let her learn from her mistakes O.o

okay....well for one...the pill doesnt work like 5 days after u take it...it taked like a month or to to be regulated...and if you are preventing her from getting pregnant...why owuld you take the pills from her? it is her choice what she does. i wouldnt tell your mom if you guys have a close relationship casue that could ruin the trust between you guys for a while.

The last thing I would do is take the pills in case she does end up having sex, and then the risk of pregnancy would be much higher.

I think I would talk to my mom. I know you told you sister you wouldn't but this sounds like it might be a time to do what's best for her, because she needs good information and if you feel you can't give it...tell your mom. Otherwise, tell her all you can yourself. Although, if you sister is going to have sex, I'm glad she got on birth control and is trying to learn about condoms. (But makes sure she knows you have to be on the pill at least a month before its effective!!)

I would be grateful that your sis has confided in you, so you can give her the right kind of advice. It is better that she has told you rather than just do it behind your back and get into all sorts of trouble. Be sure to tell her all the risks and what options she has, if she is set on having sex then just be sure that she takes precautions. DO NOT steal the pills as this may force to have unprotected sex which is not good.
