that is just a small incision that is made in the tissue between bladder and uterus. incision is made above the bladder in order to separate the bladder from where the incision is going to be made in the uterus.
wouldnt want to cut your bladder in order to get to the baby out so that is the purpose of the bladder flap, to protect the bladder.
most docs do a bladder flap at C-section
