My period stopped but I'm a virgin so there is no way to be pregnant?!

Question: I first got my period when I was in 7th grade and had it until i was in 9th grade (and i had horribly painful cramps idk if thats relevant) and then it just stopped. I had it a few times off and on through out high school but i didn't go to the doctor cuz i figured it would just get on track. Now i'm a freshmen in college and I finally got it again and i had it about 3 months in a row. then it stopped again.

I'm gonna go to the doctor but i'm just wondering if any other girls has/had this problem and what the result was. I heard that i could be put on the pill..but i really really don't want to do that..anyways I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this and what i can be expecting when i go to the doctors.

both sports and stress can mess with the regularity of your period. but i would think your dr. will want to regulate your hormones with birth control pills. they are really used more than people think for hormonal regulation, not just as a contraceptive.

are you an athlete,? my daughters usually goes away when she is very active during her sports season, then it returns to normal

stress will mess up your period. and as far as the cramps i have heard that a lot of that is to do with poor diet, i have the same problem.

it might be from stress or ur not eating healty or getting sny sleep., go to ur dr (gyn)

iF YOU ARE OVERACTIVE AND SHORT TEMPERED YOU WILL BE HAVING THIS PROBLEM. sO ALWAYS FEEL LIGHT AND ACCUSTOME TO YOUR ROUTINES. nO PROBLEM. iT IWLL BE NORMAL SOON. OK BYEE

stress that all
