Ovarian cyst pain and diaphragm?!

Question: I recently got a diaphragm for birth control and this all might be in my head but I have to ask. Is it possible that you would feel ovarian cyst pain when you put your diaphragm in? I have a 5mm cyst on my right ovary and definitely know the pain I get from them (I've had them rupture). I just put the diaphragm in for the first time and it seems that I can feel the twinging an ovarian cyst sometimes causes - is it possible that the diaphragm ruptured the cyst?

I would think that sexual intercourse would push things around more than inserting your diaphragm. So the cyst would have ruptured during penetration anyways.

It might also be a coincidence.
