Yaz B/C Pill?!

Question: I'm 26 and married. (just to let you know) I have been taking Yaz for almost 1 month now. Tonight was my 1st I think "non-active pill" Anyways...me and my husband used condoms for the Xtra protection. Well 3 nights ago (I had 3 active pills left) My husband and I had sex without a condom. Ok so a little Risky. But Yesterday when I went to take my B/C Pill I realized I missed the day befores dose. So I went upstairs and asked my brother in law (who is a pharmacist) what am I supposed to do. He told me to take both pills now. Well I didn't want to get into the specifics with him. So Ok my question is what do you think my chances are of becoming pregnant? Anyways by me taking 2 Yaz pills at the same time I almost puked all day yesterday and have had a migraine all day today. So is that normal too?? Ok, well Thanks to everyone who answers nicely. =)

If say, you usually take your pill at 10pm, as long as you take it before 10am the next day, your fully protected and you should have just tooken the one and take the next pill at you usual 10pm. From what it sounds like you were right to take both (and yea if you take 2 they will have that a
effect: i get that when i forget too). If you were actually sick, than that kinda counteracts taking the pill that time. It sounds unlikely that you will be pregant, i would recommend to stop taking your pill now (that pack) and wait for a couple fo day for your period, since you both missed a pill and was sick and just start afresh with a new pack in a weeks time (after the 7 day break.

I wouldn't of though you are pregant because the pill stays in your system for about 12-18 hours, so you had sex while your pill is active. Lets just say for safety it didn't work and the sperm lived inside you for 5 days max. From the pill not working it would take a few of days (i presume) for an egg to ripen and release, so even by that point the sperm, even if it did have super-life abilities lol, aren't likely to be that strong. Plus if you just go for you period now, even if it did get fertilised, and you have your period, there would be no where for the egg to attach or would be dispossed of through the period i expect.

Hope that made sense.... So basically it's unlikely lol.

Chances are pretty low, The migraine probably came from the dip in hormones from missing the pill. The puking came from too much hormones for what your stomach is used to..

Read the booklet that came with your pill, it's quite informative....if you started taking the pill during your last cycle (when you still had your period) then you will be covered straight away (as stated in the book)...if you took your missed pill within 24hours you should be ok...I would say at this stage of your cycle, close to your period, you should be right...

none...if u just missed one active pill the booklet that comes with it says u dont need any other protection...and he is right...you do take both of them...
