Day 3 of period and already got pain in ovary??!
Question: any ideas as to whats going on? it happened last month too. it lasts for a few days then goes away till normal ovulation time? its a really sharp pain too. i know it ovulation pain as it feels the same as when i always have had it. thanks

Try taking evening primrose oil capsules. You can buy them from pretty much any supermarket, and places like boots etc. They take about a monthish to kick in but they help loads.
I used to get these kinds of pain really bad but since I've been taking these i haven't really had anything other than a couple of twinges every now and then. They can also make your periods lighter too.

i guess there is a chance you could ovulate then but most likely it is just related to period cramps
