Thanks !

Lipo suction sucks out the fat from your body, whereas a tummy tuck your stomach is cut, the fat is removed and your stomach is "tucked" backed together so to speak. if you are considering this then go to a really good recommended surgeon and ask him how long does it take, how long does i take to recover. Ask him/her if you can see any pitures of people who have just had the surgery done, so you know what to expect

Tummy Tuck = Pulling the skin to make sure it isn't flabby anymore.

Lipo Suction = taking off the excess fat in your body.

i have to tuck my tummy in my pants every morning

A tummy tuck is when they cut the skin on your lower abdomen and remove excess fat, and tissue, and tighten the muscles. Lipo is when fat is removed with a "wand" from any part of your body and is a lot less invasive, and cheaper than a TT, they also add some chemical of some kind to liquefy the fat so they can get it out.

Liposuction - they use tubes to suck out the fat.
Tummytuck - They actually cut a section of the stomach away.

People opt for a tummytuck because it removes the excess skin aswell as the unwanted fat. Other people opt for liposuction because it leaves minimal or no scarring. It really depends on the individual and what they are willing to settle for.

Lipo is when they just remove fat (with a suction/vacuum tool) and tummy tuck is when they cut off a section of skin and fat (i believe from the lower abdomin) and stitch it back up. You should ask about recovery time, possible complications or anything else on your mind.

Both are surgery...........
LMAO at JT's answer....
Peace.

a tummy tuck is where they take a large portion of your lower stomach out completely and sew your stomach down to remove any lose skin, this requires cutting a new whole for your belly button as they remove the skin between your pelivs and your belly button effectively removing the naval. Liposuction is where they use a wand like instrument under your skin to suck out fat, they can suck out up to 5 kilos worth at a time.
Good questions to ask would be what are the risks and how common are they? how many times has your particular doctor performed those operations and what is his infection and success rates? how long will the recovery be? what pain relief will you be given? how long after the operation can you do your normal activitys and excersise?

A tummy tuck is normally a long incision that starts at one side of your lower abdomen and reaches the other side. The excess skin is then cut away and the skin that is left is pulled down to give that 'smooth flat tummy' look. Your belly button is repositioned and made a new hole for. A couple of hundred stitches and your'e done.
Lipo suction is a catheter rod that is inserted into a small incision of the problem areas that have excess fat. It is retracted in and out to 'suck' the fat out of your body, ending with a more defined, toned area.

Important questions to ask I would think would be.. (on top of my list anyway!)
How long have you been performing these procedures for?? And ask to see proof & certification for your piece of mind.

Good luck with everything

ooooh I saw lipo on a program once. Ooooh :::shudders::: They use an instrument to jab and stab breaking down and sucking out the fat. Tummy tuck is when they remove excess skin and sew it together giving you a flatter stomach
