Basically, they get their clitoris and labia cut off, sometimes just one or the other. Also, sometimes they get the opening to their vagina mostly sewn up (except for a small hole). They do it to prevent masturbation and to make sex unpleasurable, so women only have sex to have kids (if that). If their vagina is sewn shut, whenever they lose their virginity the man has to rip it open.

its a bad things that happens in other countries. over 300 million women have had it done. they are held down and cut with a razor or piece of glass and all/part of the clitoris is removed. sometimes that happens and they are sewn up so they cant have sex. it isn't funny, and they dont want it. its called female mutilation. google it.
