Question: I'm 7 weeks pregnant I read the article below and I was very disturbed by it...I'm afraid to drink water now....what do you guys think of it? How will it affect my unborn baby? We use a Brita Filter for tap water but still.... should we only be drinking bottled water? But that's not 100% safe either? What is your opinion?

geeezzz la - weeezzz
its water, people have been drinking it for years.
I drink from a garden hose! ;)

calm down I'm 35wks an we use one of those filtering jugs besides you will filter it again before it reaches your baby

honestly, i think ur fine.how many preggers women have pefectly healthy babies?im sure they all drink water.the odds are in ur favor
plus im pretty sure ur hurting ur baby by not drinking any water.thats badddd
if ur rly still nervous, then buy bottled water. thats more sanitary

Buy a Water filter for your faucet. Buy Bottled water. It may be safe. Or get a pitcher with a filter. People have been told not to flush meds for years. The best way to discard old meds is to mix them in used kitty liter.

Please, don't worry about the water you drink. you have been drinking water your whole life, and i assure you that when you get sick, it isn't from the water you drink. My mom has had four babies, and drinken tap water, and all of her babies turned out perfect and beautiful. don't fret, your baby will be beautiful.

tap water in many cases is actually healthier than bottled water, it has to meet higher health standards.

You need to relax. If you're worried about them finding trace amounts of medications in the drinking water of SOME towns stop and read what they're saying. There are trace amounts, not enough to be considered even a small dose. If you drink bottled water there is something in the plastic bottles that leaches into the water in the bottle, and that's harmful, so it's best not to drink that either. Besides that bottled water is no different from the water that comes out of your faucet at home. You need water, find someone with a well and get your drinking water from there. You've got a good filter, so go with that until someone tells us different.

I'm sure that you will do everything in your power to ensure that you have a healthy child. but don't worry so much. from what i have heard over the last 49 years is that pretty much everything is unsafe. and everything will give you cancer.
it makes you think! why not just hold my breath and just dye. what do they expect all the pesticides, growth hormones and etc..........
hope you have a good pregnancy and birth. take care, that's all you can do.

im sorry but the last thing people need is to be freaked out about drinking water.....how long has it been around for......for ever! i boil my water then put it in the refrigerator and me and baby are fine.....

drink the water and relax. filtered or not.. you now what.. its called MARKETING.. of course people think bottled water is better, but they didn't have that stuff way back in the day and those kids were fine.. think of things this way and ask yourself if they survived and nothing happened, then what ar the odds that something would happen with me.. i do drink bottled water, but i do not have a problem drinking from the tap either.. personally i think it has become a fad to walk around with a friggin bottled water.. sorry, that's what i think.. its good you are reading up on things, but you are freaking yourself out in the mix..
