You might be using a size that is too large, try the mini ones first and work up from there till you find one that fits right. I dont really use tampons till my flow is pretty heavy, otherwise it doesnt tend to go in as easily. Use a pad at the start of your period then try putting the tampon in after that. xxx

try a different size

if it doesn't work, please switch so that you will be more comfortable. not every woman's body is the same. maybe as you grow older, you can try the tampoon thing again. good luck.

I was the same way. I was probably 18 before I could wear them and I was sexualy active then and I think that probably made the difference. I would wait until you are a little older and try again.

try one that is slimmer.

Use the lites/regulars...they are easier to insert. Also you don't have to insert them that far. As long as only the string is hanging out its far enough. I'm on the petite side and have never been able to push them all the way up...and I'm 25. If it hurts don't worry about it and use a pad. Really, nobody can tell.

I tend to believe you are not inserting them correctly. You shouldn't be able to feel a thing if it's in there right. Be sure to read the instructions that come with it. Sometimes they don't go straight up... you may have to slant it toward the back a little. You'll know when it's right.

When I was your age I had the same problem. It's the Tampon. I used to use Tampax or Playtex they still are uncomfortable if I use them (24 now). Try using Kotex they are more comfortable and you can't feel them like the others. Try using the smallest size. Maybe you could talk to your mom or a women that you feel comfortable with. Please don't be embarassed. Every girl has gone through something like this.

i have the same problem. try the smallest one you can find with a plastic applicator, if that doesn't work then wait and use pads until your ready
