I'm not sure how old you are or anything, but if you have your own place and have bills to pay, I know what works best for me is highlighting the due day and placing all of my bills on the refrigerator. Then everytime I go to the fridge, I see what is due and when.

If I need just a general reminder for something, I'll leave myself a post-it note on the bathroom mirror, or toilet seat at night so I see it when I wake up in the morning. If you still think you'll forget, leave and extra remind on the inside of your front door so you'll see it when you leave.

Get a dry erase board and right notes on that for the next day. Keep a calendar handy to jot down important dates.

There's a lot of little things you can do to help you remember things. Just don't forget to do them! LOL

I used to know but, I forgot...lol.

Just kidding. If I really need to remind myself of something. I leave a note next to something I know I will be using, like the coffee maker or toaster, or I tape a note to the door.
If it's bills you need to pay. Write the due date on a calendar and hang it on the wall where you can see it.

I like to email myself important things, because I often check my email. Also if it's REALLY important, I will write it on my hand or arm in permanent ink. Sometimes I leave myself notes on the bathroom counter or beside my pillow, or taped to my mirror.

I've also read that eating Ginkgo Biloba and things with fish oil in it improves memory.

Good luck!

Mainly I create habits for myself. I leave my keys and my mobile phone in the same place every day. I have a pill case for my vitamins and always leave it filled and at eye level in the fridge, I set two alarms on my clock or phone for every event - 15 to 30 minutes apart (one alarm just doesn't cut it).

I also leave myself notes. I post reminders on my mirror in the morning, and have a notepad in my car that I transfer them to, then I train myself to look there often. I always put a small doodle or picture on the note, because for some reason it catches my eye better. I have a notepad and pen in every room in the house.

I've also been known to phone my voicemail to leave a reminder there (of course then I have to remember to check my VM!) And if all else fails, I always remember to tell my husband, so that if I do forget, I have someone else to blame for it :0)
