How should I tell my mom i want to use tampons?!
Question: I am 12 year old. I have had my period 3 times I feel I am ready to use a tampon with my mom knowing.i have used them she just don't know me and my mom don't really talk what should i do.

Hi, I'm 12 years old & I'm gonna have my period soon because my mom got hers when she was in 6h grade too. You should write it down on a note, and put it somewhere where mostly only your mom looks, then before you go 2 school the next day, tell her to look in that spot to find the note and read it, it's a little less emberassing because your not right infront of her saying it to her. just go and buy them and start using them, you don't need her permission, it's a personal choice.
Just tell her, theres really no reason for you not to....using tampons is simply more convenient.
I have been using them for years, and I don't think my mom knows. Just use them if you want to. You don't have to tell her everything if you don't feel comfortable with it

Don't be confrontational. Just simply tell her you would like to use them. If she says no, drop the subject for a few month. Let her get used to the fact that you are growing up. When you do use them be careful not to let them in too long. You can get toxic shock syndrome. Oh, and don't flush them down the toilet unless you want to pay a BIG plumbing bill.
just suck it up and tell her. she will understand the first time she told her mom. ive almost had my period for a year and i havent even thought about using a tampon
just be up front about it. does she know you have your period? that would be a good place to start and then explain that you would like to discuss the basics about feminine hygeine, like tampons. i think being direct and calm is the best way to approach it. hope this helps.
Tell her that if you have it but you want to swim pads just wont work. So... she will get the hint.
just simply tell her, "mom spare me the talk, ive heard it all before i just need a tampon, its no big deal i've used one before and i dont wnat to talk right now i have loads od homework." see how something like that works out.
Yes, your mother will understand and help you any questions that you have about using them. You should also probably start with the light ones.
just say 'mom, im using tampons' if she reacts shocked, just tell her it's youre choice and decision.

I just told my mom that I was going through this horrible thing, why wouldn't she let me choose what I would like to wear? She was fine with her..I told her I set the rules for my period :P
