The best thing to do would be to wear a condom. The tricky thing about sexually transmitted diseases or infections (STDs or STIs) is that the symptoms might take a while to show up, so moving on to a new relationship won't protect you (because it takes time for some of these signs to show up). Your friend might think she's fine, but won't know for certain because sometimes STDs/STIs can "hide" for a while. Condoms also protect against pregnancies.

Birth control (the pill) is also an effective method of preventing pregnancy, and a good idea for your friend to take, especially if she doesn't want you to use protection. However, the birth control pill will NOT protect you from STDs/STIs - you're still at risk for those if you don't use protection.

She can go for a test that will tell her if she has anything sexually transmitted - she can see her doctor about it. After those results you may have a better idea of how you want to engage in sex (condom or not, birth control pill or no). Ideally, you should use both of these methods (pill + protection). Or at least one. But she should understand the risks involved of not using protection, and listen to what you want, too.

Tell that chick to shut up.she is being stupid. Just remind her that it would suck to have a kid without being ready. Always use protection im not trying to sound like a health teacher but seriously it not worth it. even if she doesnt get pregnant you will be worried non stop until she does.

Wear protection PLEASE take care of yourself. Shes not a virgin well just imagine how many other people she has been with? And if she doesnt want you to wear protection, do you really think she has been safe herself. Have you seen the news lately on how many people are infected with some sort of STD each year? Shes not worth it if she doesnt want you to wear protection!

make sure she gets checked out for std's before you sleep with her. Dont' do anything that makes you uncomfortable...

Do you want a baby or std? If the answer is no you do what you have to. You have to protect yourself

Don't fall for that trap. Even if she is on the pill, (which I doubt, because if she isn't responsible enough to protect herself from a life threatning disease, she isn't protecting against pregnancy either) that doesn't protect against a disease. Demand that you are using protection, and if she refuses, her loss. You have to look after yourself. Don't give in, and make sure you get your own or she may sabbtoge the protection. (poke a hole in it if she is after a baby), you never know what people resort to these days.

its not just about birth control its about sti's .. so its as much for you as it is for her. do u really think if it was the other way round she's let u not wear one?
just be safe thats all..

she's a silly girl, btw :(
