-chocolate
-hot bath

Drink lots of water and try stretching your stomach muscles. That always helps me since I don't like to take pain pills.

Heating pad and ib profin

curling up in a ball with chocolate always works

ik!! i get them in school xD
DriNK lots of water, or
masturbate
0=

idk, i would however; ask my doctor since those pills seems to do nothing. i have used a heating pad and it did nothing to help relieve my cramps. i just take medication and sleep.

sorry for your pain.

It might help if you put pressure on it. And people say that exercise helps with the pain, but who the heck wants to exercise when they feel like crap?

drink water (that is what im doing now) haha it helps me alot

I recommend Midol, it works for me all the time. Also, i've heard that soda can cause cramps, so stay away from that.

If you have a microwave, dip a washcloth in water and then wring it out as much as you possibly can. Now microwave the damp washcloth for 15-30 seconds (depending on its power). Be very careful, it can get extremely hot very quickly! This works as a great substitute heating pad, I use it all the time during that time of the month.

my mother told me that drinking alcohol can help to relieve menstrual cramps- ibubrofen has always helped me...

hold one arm up like you'd do in school and gently rub wherever your cramp is..that usually helps me
good luck!

Midol....lots of Midol

A nice hot bath always works for me.

well exercising actually makes u feel better. i know that you probably wouldn't feel like running or playing a sport when you have a cramp but it does reduce the pain from the cramp.

I only use ibuprofen because pamprin and midol make me even sicker. Allegedly hot tea and honey is good, but I don't know. I'm sorry you feel icky. I also heard that exercise is a natural way to help, but who wants to excercise when they're feeling that bad. I prefer the hide under a blanket in the fetal position technique.

Oh-also, as gross as it is, that girl who said you should uh...get personal with yourself (or have a competent boy help) is not wrong, climaxing does help.

My wifes cramps usually go away by themselves after about a week or so.

If you want a right now solution you can not go wrong with a hot bath.
Do relaxation exercises, breathing deeply in for 7 seconds then breath out slowly for 11 seconds. Concentrate on relaxing every bit of you body.
Listen to relaxing music.
If you can get to a heerbal shop clari sage is very effective, you get it as a solution and rub it on your tummy... its very good, use it myself. Herbal teas can be very good and should replace coffee and normal tea during your period.
Drink water. It helps flush out and regulate toxins in your body.
Good luck!

Kawa kawa tea

Sometimes using the toilet helps. Even if you don't have to go try bearing down as if you are having a bowel movement. If that is too awkward then lay flat on your back and gently contract your lower abdominal muscles then release. Repeat several times and then gently massage the same muscles with your fingertips.

I hope you feel better, crampy days are never fun. :( Try watching a good moving and having some chocolate covered pretzels! :)

water and a pain killer called BUMOL it does wonders

I know this might seem like the last thing you would want to do, but have you tried taking a short walk? Walking (or other forms of low impact exercise, like swimming) will increase your body's levels of endorphins, which are your natural pain relievers.

There are also natural supplements that can help with menstrual cramps or other PMS symptoms, but if you're taking hormonal birth control, you'll want to make sure that they won't interfere with it. Vitex is one that I've heard good things about. You can google it for more info. If you go to your local health food store or GNC, they should have a section of supplements for women's health, and there are usually several for PMS relief.

Also, if you can get your hands on a heating pad, I would do so. You could also fill a sock with rice, tie it closed, and put it in the microwave for few minutes to make your own "heating pad".
