Tampon/pads?!
Question: im afraid to get my period. im ten, but i know the signs that show u will get ur period, and i have all of them except discharges. my family cant afford to buy tampons/pads so i stuff toilet paper in my panties. im so scared! what can i do!?

It might be another year before you start, do you have a friend's mother you could confide in to help you out if you can't get any pads or tampons, also it's best to use pads when you first start cause you won't be use tto the tampon it can hurt really bad the first time you use one unless you know how to put it in the right way.
You probably won't get your period for another year or so. Lots of times you can go to the school nurse to get feminine supplies. Use what your mom uses. also, go to beinggirl.com
Go to the school nurse. Normally, they have tampons and pads up the wazoo! She'll more than likely give you some for free.
you can buy tampons and pads for cheap if you save up. if your family can't afford 3$ then try to save up your own money somehow.
i know your feeling of being scared. when i was your age i felt the same way. but once you get it you'll understand it more and won't be so clueless. every girl gets it so talk to some friends or another girl you trust. you'll be okay... =)

Well I fell sad for your mom! But tampons/pads are cheap, if your parents can afford a computor they should be able to buy you tampons/pads.

It's nothing to be scared of. It happens to every female on the planet, you will just have to deal with it when it arrives.

You probably will get your period next year or maybe in a couple years dont worry talk to your mum maybe she can give you some advice on it or ask her what her age was when she started her period.
just enjoy the time that u don't have a period because it is very hard. When u start u are going to wish u had never started.
