Are abortions really as painful physically as people say i am against it tho?!

Question: YES!!! It is the most painful experience that I have ever gone through in my entire life. They give you pain pills and a shot but you feel everything. I had an abortion 5 days ago and I nearly passed out from the pain. Its a pretty fast proceedure, but when you are in pain and screaming for them to stop...it feels like hours. I went to a private clinic hoping it would be better than the stories I've heard at public places like PP, but it was so painful!!! They gave me a shot a shot of dymeroll (sp?) but it didn't help. Plus it isn't fun to sit in the waiting room for 4 hours till they call you in. I will live with this horrible regret for the rest of my life....

why in the hell would u even ask this question if u are against it...

Yes it does hurt I did not have one but some one i knew did and she hurt a lot.I myself is against it also.

Abortions are quite physically painful, both medical abortions and surgical. While the medical abortion seems more gentle as the procedure is based on a shot and a few suppositories, it takes longer and the pain lasts over an amount of time- sometimes up to two weeks, as your body needs time to pass the fetus and the tissue in the uterus. There is also a significantly larger amount of blood that you will have to deal with if you go the medical way. The surgical procedure can be completed in less than ten minutes (depending on how far along) and with anesthesia, its not too painful. However, you can't drive and may need up to 48 hours of recovery in bed afterward.
