I am 12 and pregnant. Any way to tell whos the father?!

Question: OK I am kidding. But everytime i ask a question no one answers me.

OK so my question is I want to join weight watchers, but you have to be 18.

If I sign up online and say I am 18 even though I am turning 16 in a few months. Is this ok? Will it harm my body in any way?

My dad said I could, I just wanted to know if it is safe.

If it helps anything I am 5'7 180 pounds.

Ok.. You have a great sense of humour! Love it I was about to give you a full throttle lecture. I'm not sure how big you are as in Australia we use kgs but good on you for doing something about getting healthy. No you are only doing good for your body and if you are still unsure go and see your doctor incase you have a condition preventing you from heavy excersize. Good on you and good luck mate!

ha ha it cant hurt it should only help

i don't think it'll hurt you. losing some weight will be better for your health in the long run anyways.

It won't hurt you at all. Its all about eating healthier food. How could that hurt you?

My mom was on weight watchers for quite a while.. didn't really work for her. If you can keep to the regimen, good for you.
I'm not sure if they have any way of verifying your age, but I'd only do something like this if the process were all online.. as in, no weighing in in your local city. I'm not quite sure if that's possible or not.

If I were you, I'd just start eating healthier and exercising. You don't need someone to tell you what you can and can't do.. so long as you're getting in 30 minutes of exercise at least three times a week and avoiding the junk food/not overeating, you should be good to go. And I would daresay that that route might be a bit safer, too.

Good luck, whatever you decide!

pffft.

it won't hurt, all you'll be doing is counting calories.

besides, if your dad gives you the ok; it's legit either way. Hey! I think I might go sit by the bay; make things out of clay..

I just may.

To you ozzies; 180 is a little under 90 kilos.

Ask a parent to sign up and you can go as a guest! No problem.

I agree with alpine, skip the money scam and just start eating sensible, lots of fruits and veggies and lean meats and high fiber foods like oatmeal and cereal (kashi is my fav). And workout 3 times a week. you are young enough to beat this fat the old fashion way, you just need some will power and dedication. And to answer your question...no there is a reason that they put an age restriction.

wow, good way to get people to click your q. I would say dont lie about your age,its a federal offence.eat only fruit and veg in a whole day for a week.join a gym.your old inuff.

Okay, I did ww when I was fifteen. When did they change the rules. And do they check ID's ? Also, they have an online program you can do also. YOu can always see a dietician.

you should be fine :D
and some people are rude, I have muscle too and all the things say I am overweight,

but why do you want to be with weight watchers if you are in shape??

muscle weighs more then fat, hockey players have damn strong legs and your glutes and quads are the largest muscles in your body. so pretty much im sure that you dont look your weight, the 180 lbs thing doesnt matter because alot of it will be muscle.. sure go on a diet, its always great to lose weight if you feel your heavier then you should be, but eat protein stilll, condidering your an athlete. lean beef or salmon the night you play hockey is great, with steamed vegetables and LOTS of water. the days your not playing hockey, dont eat anything if you dont want to. if you want to go for the quick fix for losing weight just eat celery and drink water. you burn more calories than you eat while eating celery. or just eat nothing. whatevs.

GO FOR IT! your fine, you have asked and told a parent your plan so go ahead and do it. i am about to be 21 5'7 and 182 lbs, i've been thinking about weight watchers as well. if you were a weight and height that made you sound like you were a size tow and aiming for size 0 i would tell you NO but since you sound like you know what you are doing , you have stated you know you will never be size 1 so i don't have to worry that my saying go for it will turn you anorexic and you have a parent who knows what you want to do GO FOR IT!

hey! i thaught you were saying you weighed 180 kg's! and i was panicking a fair bitbut when i found out that only means 90 i dont think its anything to really stress about.
join weight watchers if its really what you want to do, i think its really good you have so much will power.
but
i honestly think it would be MUCH better and more fun if you got together with some of your friends you really TRUST, that way you can put together meal plans, excersise together and make sure you are all sticking to what you want to do.
even if your friends arent trying to loose weight they could still do it to be healthier and fitter and to be a good friend to you.
i would if we were besters so i can imagine they would too.
best of luck mate! i hope it all works out for you
catcha later xxxxx

i think it should be fine, and with playing hockey that often will give you muscle, so it's not necesserily fat that you have too lose-you said you dont look your weight, so it's more than likely your muscle that's putting on the weight hun x

your funny u had me on that one. I knew u were a troll or it was made up question right away but good one any ways.

wow you are overweight, just being mean cause thats what you need to lose weight.. just drinking NOTHING but water, watch the fatty foods and you can watch your weight without joining a money scam and dont forget to excercise.
I'm 18, 5'11 and weigh 145 pounds healthy as can be anyone who says im too skinny its most the time there too fat.
