Overcoming the habit?!


Question: Does anyone have any ideas or ways that can help me stop eating junk when im not even hungry?
i think its a bit of a habit and i do it mainly when im bored
its fairly common with teenagers right?
but anyway, do you have any ways to help me stop

I have the same problem.. it's a sugar- carbo. addiction I think!! It seems to come in spurts...good for a few days and then POW!! Chewing gum seems to help.. I like the big red cinnamon....but sometimes I just get a milky way and say to myself "o.k. this is 350 calories...so enjoy it a lot!!" People will say just replace it with good healthy stuff...but it's not that easy is it? Sometimes I can eat 100% WW bread with some peanut butter and that will do me for awhile...it just boils down to self control .. .which isn't the easiest thing.. Brush your teeth..and go for a walk! lol!!

replace the junk with something healthy.

Always have with you a bottle of water with you.
The other thing I would suggest is that you should carry along some packed meal to cater for the lapses that lead to junk foods. Always try and tell your mind that there is something to eat when you are hungry!

picture how great you'll feel when u eat healthier. try it and c how it works. stop eating the junk, you'll gain weight and always fell crappy. just eat right

Put healthy foods in the junk food wrappers, I had the same problem with that, that's what I used to overcome the habit.

eat fruite instead of junks.. it makes nice skin too
