You need to take a starflower capsule, or evening primose oil capsule every day of the month from now on. Increase the dosage during the troublesome 2 weeks that you have. You shouldn't have to suffer like this - it is a hormone imbalance in the brain causing this mood swing - the above capsules keep your hormones balanced throughout the month because they contain something called GLA which your brain needs to balance. Natural GLA levels drop during your period so you need to take capsules to boost it up again. I would go nuts without them. Start on 500mg a day then boost it up, maybe 2 or 3 capsules a day just before your period starts. Afterwards you can reduce it down to 500mg again. Don't stop, you'll have to always take them - it's only a plant oil. Ignore those that say it is 'psychiatric' or you need therapy, or 'snap out of it, it is all in your head' - I've had it for 25 years and those people are talking out their butts!!

Volunteer at your local Childrens Hospice....guaranteed to snap you out of it!

Sorry but PMT is a state of mind, NOT an illness!

I hear you! Oil of Evening Primrose is good to help stabilize your mood and also helps your skin look good too! If you are suffering very much - your doctor will be able to help you as there are good prescription drugs that can help if you feel you need them.

Hi ther,

sorry your not feeling to well :-(.
I sufferd for years have you tried Feminax>?
they are brilliant any good chemist should sell them
give them a try :-) xx

If your pms is bothering you this many days of the month then you really ought to see a phychiatrist and look into getting on some kind of medication at least temporarily. I know a lot of people are reluctant to go this route but it has saved so many lives and changed so many others. There is no reason for you to suffer like this unless you want to, so make an appointment with a Psychiatrist and begin the healing process because you are so worth it!

the life is a short period to grow from one to another ,from dark to light think so, you will not stop till you reach to the bliss

If I could find a cure I would be very rich indeed. Try to focus on something worthwhile when it comes round to that time of the month. Get a hobby or do some volunteer work. Also evening primrose available from most chemists might help to take the edge of. Good Luck

Right before I come on, I feel really low and depressed.
I reflect on my life, I feel emotional and I'm really upset.
I remember one day in college, I ran to the toilet crying, for no reason.
My friend followed me in and offered me a piece of chocolate.
Within 5 minutes, I felt so much better.
The chocolate has got things in it that boosts your happy hormones.
A piece of chocolate a day is good for you (obviously not too much as it puts on weight and gives you pimples).
Just try the chocolate when you're feeling low, but remember not to binge out.
