Question about prenatal vitamins? Opinions would be helpful.?!
Question: I have taken them before and then stopped because I thought they was what was causing me to break out in boils, then I found out that I had staph infection. I got rid of it. I have read that pregnant women or after they give birth will get boils. I was wondering if taking the prenatal vitamins can cause boils? I am not pregnant, I just want to take the vitamins because my hair and nails will grow out longer. The one time I did take them I started getting another so I stopped and it went away after putting antibiotic cream on in. I guess my question is can prenatal vitamins cause boils?

I really doubt it is from the prenatal pills. I would continue to take them. Also once you have staph you will always have it. It can pop up anytime anywhere.
im not sure if it can cause boils. but my GYN told me that the generic prenatal vitamins like from wal=mart are just fine to take. he said there is no major need to take really expensive ones.
Very very unlikely. Just take them, they are pretty essential for a healthy well developed baby. And use the antibiotic cream if you get boils.

No I don't think prenatal vitamins can cause boils, never heard of anyone else getting boils from prenatal vitamins
Hrmm., never heard of getting boils on prenatal vitamins. Ask the doctor, or ask in the pregnancy section.
