What can help with period pain when on lithium?!

Question: I'm on lithium for BiPolar Affective disorder. It means I can't take Ibuprofen or anything like that. before going on the lithium that's how I dealt with it.....

Now I have my period and panodol (paracetemol) doesn't work... crawling in a ball doesnt work either. I need to do something fast though because I'm supposed to be walking the pet...

try a heating pad/compress!

exercise and do something that distracts your attention.

Try not eating milk or milk products. It worked for me.
