When you start feeling sore aorund that area,and you have tiny little hard lumps behind the nipple.It you press on it it hurts. Sometimes they can get super itchy. If they start pokin' out a bit out of your shirt.If you run or walk and they jiggle a bit,or they feel uncomfortable,wear one. If you're just reay small,use a sports or training bra,when you actually need support or need then rounded a bit,thn wear a normal one.

Go to google and look it up. You'll see all the pictures you want. And you should get your frist bra when you start growing breasts. It can look very many different ways.
You should get your first bra when you notice you have nipple buds. You may have soreness and tenderness in your chest and maybe even some lumpy feel. Don't get anything too fancy at first. You need to go to a store that does bra fittings they can help you.
I got 1 wen i was 6 but i was a fattie so it just depends. but my sis is 15 and still doesnt have 1 cause shes sssooooooooo flat!!! It should look natural or frilly or lacy,if you feel a bit pokey then you should probibly get one and you should first get a training bra which doesnt have padding...but frillee 1s r good, to000!!! cuz i wear em

Hello ! Interesting question and very debatable. First of all, this is a question you should be asking your mother,Aunt, or older sister about first. Just because you read it on the internet,doesn't make it right.Girls today, want to grow up too fast, I see 5 and 6 yr olds wearing makeup, my 8 yr old granddaughter wants a training bra (for real), my answer, you don't have anything to train yet, and when you do, you'll get all the training you need, the rest of your life. They are uncomfortable, especially when you HAVE to wear them,everyday,all day long, so Please sweetie, don't rush it, if you are asking, I'm guessing that you don't have anything to train yet,be patient,you will have,then you will wish that you didn't. get a bra whenever, especially when you start growing. I personally love bras with designs and pattens. it brings more fun to dressing up! if you wear a lot of white t-shirts, get a nude bra (equal or close to your skin tone).
Whenever you are ready to wear a bra, or you start seeing rounded shape on your chest, or you try on the smallest bra and it fits.
