Period cramps. help ladies!!!!!?!


Question: ok, so ive had my period for about 6 months and i so hate it. i also hate guys at the moment 2!!! grr. anyways ive gotten it 4 times and last time and right now ( the 4th time) the cramps are KILLING me for the 2nd day and 3rd day of my period. the cramps feel like i wanna barf and it feels like i need to poop all the time (dont laff!) is that wat cramps r supposed to feel like? and my skin gets all sallow and yellow so i look sick. im so tired it feels like i cant hold my head up. my butt, abdomen, inner thighs hurt like aching. any natural ways to take away aches and lighten period? pleez no medicine. so ya i can like never get used to my period. and everytime i get it, i skip dance class evn tho i luv going. do i need tampons? how the h*** do i use them?!?!?!? the only thing that takes away pain is if i like sleep 5 hrs...during the day. but thats not an option cuz im so busy :(

There are quite a few things you can do...
1) Drink lots of water.
2) Heat! Heat! Heat! Heating pads work wonders!
3) Cut down on your salt intake. Will help with cramps. Bananas help too.
4) Exercise! Walking, stretching, works good.
5) Midol. Hun, this stuff is fabulous! Just try it, and I promise, it will work!
6) As for the smell, the sanitary wipes are a good idea. I wouldn't use a haevily scented one, as it can aggravate the skin, but just try the powder scented ones. fairly light scent.

Just take advil, tylenol, midol, etc. or just take a warm bath or a heating pad. I also heard banana's help cramps too. Good luck! ?

sometimes a heating pad works to relieve the pain.
midol is made for cramps, even though it is a pill.
in my opinion, tampons are much cleaner and easier than pads.
when you buy them they have a little paper which shows you how to use them.

Right, it is perfectly normal for cramps to be that painful unfortunately. You need to increase your iron intake to get rid of the yellow, sallow skin such a green vegetables
I know you said no medicine but going on the contraceptive pill will lighten you period and in turn reduce the pain.
Tampons can make some cramps worse, but that varies from person to person. You could alwyas try it for a month and see how you feel.
Another way to relieve the pain could be to use a heat pad. I use a barley bag that you can put in the microwave. I find that it helps quite a lot.
Exercise leading up to your period can help with the pain so don't stop with those. They will help and you'll feel good about yourself as well! :o)

You can try a heating pad and some herbal tea. That normally helps ease my cramps when they are real bad. As for the smell, it comes with the territory unfortunately. Shower more or you can try using those sanitary wipes when you are using the bathroom. They have nice scented ones. Hang tough!

Some girls get no cramps, and others, like you and me, get ones that make us feel like a monster is trying to rip our stomachs open from the inside.

It sucks, I know, but this is normal. Do you exercise regularly? If not you might consider it. Cardio will help get rid or the pain. A hot water bottle or a heating pad will also help if you put it on your lower back, or a hot bath. If you are feeling constipated eat a banana, if you have diahrea eat an apple. You can't do anythng to lighten your period but it may lighten itself over time. Tampons will not help with your pain, although they are useful if you are active.

Other than that I had to go to the doctor to get pain killers to help get rid of the pain, and they're the only thing that really helps for long periods of time besides exercise.

What you describe is perfectly normal. My cramps can cause my legs to feel like I just ran 20 miles. They feel like jelly! This last time the following day they were even sore like after excercise. You can take a hot bath and just soak in there a while. When i have cramps like that I do have to break down and take some advil even though I hate taking medicine. Try some chamomile tea. Its a relaxation tea.

Things women go thro. Why couldn't the males go thro the periods, cramps, and child birth changing diapers being up half the night with the kids when they are sick instead of thee lovely ladies. Can you imagine the first male that can do??
Lavender helps in the tub. Drink lots of water.
