Heavy, Irregular Monthlies Causing Problems.?!

Question: Ever since I started them at 12 (now 16), I've experienced weakened joints, pain, tiredness and general weakness. I can't remember once when they weren't heavy or irregular. Each month that progresses, they seem to get heavy and heavier. I have to sleep twice a day at least and today I was at the point I could barely get out the car to walk, I felt so weak and drained that someone had to go get something sugary for me, I'm around 5'3 and 107lbs, so I guess my weight is healthy enough. Should I go see a doctor? Or is there anything I can do to help?

Hi i think i sumamrize what u need...
feel free to ask if any querry
and check u r anemic or not ...might be cause of weakness and all as many mesnuturating girls ......

The menstrual cycle is not the same for every woman.
On average, menstrual flow occurs every 28 days (with most women having cycles between 24 and 34 days), and lasts about 4 days.
However, there is wide variation in timing and duration that is still considered normal, especially if your periods began within the last few years

If you completely soak through a sanitary pad or tampon every hour for 2-3 consecutive hours, this is considered a very heavy period. A prolonged period is one that lasts longer than 7 days.

Call your doctor if:

You have soaked through a pad or tampon every hour for 2-3 hours.
Your bleeding has lasted longer than one week.
You have severe pain, especially if you also have pain when not menstruating.
Your periods have been heavy or prolonged for three or more cycles, compared to what is normal for you.
You have a fever or abnormal vaginal discharge, especially if it has an odor.

YES go to a doctor to be put on birth control because it lessens cramps AND bleeding. You don't need to be sexually active to get it, obviously. Mine used to be heavy and miserable as well but I've been on the pill for quite some time my periods are so much better.
also, talk to your doctor about endometriosis if its as bad as you're saying.
