Is a 28" waist alright for someone 5'9?!
Question: it depends on how many inches your hips are. a healthy waist to hip ratio is 0.8 or under, this is gotten by dividing ur waist by your hips. if it's 0.8 or under, your fine. 28"sounds more than fine to me though for someone of your height

all depends on what your other dimensions are, I'm 5'10" with a 28 inch waist but like it more at 27 or 26
