Think of it this way, being on top is control. You control how fast and how it goes, so you can make sure you get what you want where you want it.
trust your partner, you should be 100% confident around them anyway!

and its only on the last few weeks that i have felt confident to be on top.
I think you need to feel comfortable with your partner, i was worried that i wouldn't be doing it right to pleasure him right but it turns out he prefers it to him being on top.
Its worth the risk, and if you don't like it change round. He is not going to judge you i promise.

haha, I feel the same. Ive always refused to be on top.
But once you get on top, dont be afraid to ask what 'he' wants you to do. I mean, if youre not confident on top, youre probably not very sure of how to do it being on top. Let the man be the teacher ; ).
Confidence comes with experience, it can be a really nice way of being intimate with your partner, I'm sure he won't think you're silly :)
