Menstrual cramps and moodiness...?!

Question: Looking for tips on how to get relief? I have Midol, but it doesn't work the greatest.. especially for the PMS. I also have a heating pad. However, I'm looking for other techniques that you girls use to rid yourself of the pain AND the mood swings. Answers are much appreciated :o) xoxo

the heating pad is a good idea. pamprin worked for me for a long time until my doctor told me that they actually started making them worse. (but there were alot of extenuating circumstances and that might not happen with you) then she prescribed me 800 mg ibuprofen which helped alot. so if you go to the store and buy the 200 or 500 mg ibuprofen just pop 2 of em. for some reason they help more than the midol. also, water. lots of water. and try to stay away from tampons if your cramps are really bad because its just trying to push out the clots so if you let it then your cramps will reduce. :]

I heard exercise helps but I never done it because I was in too much pain to do it. Just lay on the bed watch some tv, tell everyone to leave you alone, and eat some chocolate. If you always have really bad cramps maybe try some BCPs cause I heard that helps too.

use a heating pad when you can and eat a lots of bananas. Excercise also helps.
