Depo Provera is the shot they give at the local health clinic. You need to research the side-effects carefully for your own child. This is one of those love it or hate it methods. My grandson's mommy hasn't had any side-effects that I am aware of and I have no new grandbabies. Your daughter will have to make sure they are administered in a timely fashion.
