Does exercise really assist with relieving cramps?!

Question: When I work out ( walk) my cramps get worse.

Answers: When I work out ( walk) my cramps get worse.

No, exercising does not help with cramps. Personally, mine get even worse when I exercise. I think it's stupid because Dr.'s always tell you to exercise to relieve cramps, but it never works for me.

it does, maybe it's not just cramps, ask your doctor

Mine get worse when I exercise as well. I have to elevate my feet and use a heating pad, take hot baths, and practically O.D on Motrin in order to relieve the pain. It's terrible. What works for some does not work for others.

It does!
The best way to revlieve cramps is to have sex!!

You have not mentioned where you get cramps. In addition the drugs give you relief.

Most of the time I find that it helps when I do something to keep my mind off of the cramps. I think we dwell on the fact that we do have cramps which makes it seem like no matter what we do they will never go away. So exercising does assist with relieving cramps, for me, but I honestly think it depends on the person because some women have it worse than others.

Try a warm towel or heating pad and lay it across the bottom of your abdomen to relieve the pain of cramps. It does work.

i use a hot water bottel
