Fear of suppositories...?!

Question: Ok, I'm 16 and have problems with my periodic bleeding, so my doc prescribed me tablets, but they don't really help me. And when he prescribed them he said, I ought to try them and if they don't help, I could also try the suppositories, because many women said, they would rather help than the tablets.
I'm really scared, because I really can't imagine having something put into there. But on the other hand, I really hate this pain aswell each month. What would you do? Suppositories are terrible aswell aren't they? My friend told me they burn and you can feel them with every inch they move into your body. Should I really take them?

you really don't have to be afraid! Imagine how many people in the world take suppositories every day, they really help and the only hurt if you are afraid of them and consequently tense up. If you relax while inserting it won't hurt, just feel a bit strange.
I have to use one again and again because I'm suffering from piles, it'S no big deal, I simply got used to them. I have them with me almost everywhere and the insertion only takes a couple of seconds and is no problem almost everywhere. When I'm at home I lie down on my bed on my side, pull my legs to my chest, pull my clothes down and then I insert it.
When I'm in stress or not at home, I simply look for a bathroom, take the suppository, go under my pants and insert it.
Sometimes I have it inserted by a person I trust.
And you won't feel every inch as it goes in, only the first, but then it goes so fast, that you won't feel it anymore in a moment.
Don't worry, just try them.

I have no problem with suppositories at all. At first, they can seem a bit uncomfortable, but besides that, i have never experienced pain itching burning or anything like that with them. Some ppl prefer suppositories to tablets because they do not give you the side effects that tablets do. Try them out and if you dont like them you dont have to continue using them, but youll never know until you try for yourself.

try and see... if it doesn't work out, try something else.
