It happens many times
esp if you are not well lubricated
its just that you are getting used to his body
relax nothing to worry

If you're not using a condom, I sure hope you're on the Pill and are taking it correctly!

A lot of women bleed a bit after sex. Especially when a condom is not used. There is a hormone in semen called progestin that can stimulate a little bit of light bleeding. It's normal.

Edited to add: Goodness! So much scary stuff that other people posted! Listen, you're not going to have the symptoms of an STD within minutes of having sex. I strongly doubt that this is an STD, although without condoms that is always a strong possibility!

My husband has had a vasectomy, so we don't use condoms or any other form of birth control. I frequently have very light spotting after sex. My doctor has assured me that it's the progestin in the semen that causes it. This is a very well documented fact. In fact, the progestin in semen has also been proven to start labor in pregnant women who are past their due date, so this is exactly why you will often hear unprotected sex recommended to women who want to start labor.

I sincerely doubt that this is anything that you need to worry about. But if you're not on the Pill, you should be VERY worried.

maybe your gonna be on your period... or go to the docters!!!

he prolly penatrated deeper which made you bleed. your first dude may not have popped yur cherry... or just from penetration NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!

bigger dick - hurts more.. ."/ sad fact : (

maybe he is big and u were tight

THE PILL WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR FROM STD'S OR AIDS
ALWAYS WEAR A CONDOM! AIDS AND STD'S ARE EVERYWHERE! GET CHECKED OUT! WHO KNOWS WHAT OTHER PARTNERS THIS PERSON HAS BEEN WITH! THOSE OTHER PARTNERS COULD HAVE GIVEN HIM SOMETHING THEREFORE GIVEN YOU SOMETHING!
I COULDNT EVEN READ THE REST OF YOUR EXPLANATION BECAUSE OF THAT!

It could be that you ripped something. It depends on how massive the bleeding was.

go to the doctor asap. it could be a serious std or a urinary tract infection, dont' wait, cause it could be something important.

if you are on the pill, it has been known to cause this, some infections can cause irritation too. Definitely check with a gyn.

Maybe he did it too rough. I mean there's only so much you could take. It doesn't matter the number of times you've done it. The only thing that matters is how rough you're doing it. I'm guessing you're a teenager, maybe 15 or 16. The "area" is still very sensitive and developing. It'll bleed if the sex is too rough.

sex sometimes helps a woman start her period.
Seems normal to me.

It is not unusual. Perhaps sex is a little vigorous which could lead to some slight chafing of the skin. It he is a little big then that could also be a part of it.

just because you have had sex before doesnt mean that your cherry cant pop. if it hadnt been broken then that could be it. maybe he was to rough and you got hurt, maybe you just got your period?

im sorry but your not invincible. your going to end up getting hurt, or with an std. unproteced sex is not anything good unless your are in a commited relationship with trust and knowlage of both partners being clean. your being so foolish.

Look, I don't know the first thing about a womans' gut stuff but I wanted to say something - it might be a really good idea to talk to a doctor about this just in case. You can never be too careful.

and please use protection. at the very least use a condom. but it would be better to combine a condom and the pill.

the problem could be a fibroid in the vagina wall .

I had that b4 too but I think mine was worse. I was about 14 and I started to bleed a lot, after sex, my underwear would get wet off blood. I was sexualy active and it did hurt at times to have sex but then it went away. It wasent like that always but then it completly stopped. At that age I didn't go to a gyno or had a pap smear, only has std test which came out fine. I don't have anything wrong with me. I'm 25 now. My gyno said that my cervix is tilted down a little. That's just my body structure though. She said the cervix was fine, so as the vaginal walls. No scars or anything weird and hopefuly ill get have children later on. That's when ill truely know is I'm fully functional down their and if I can't oh well. Many babies that need a home.

I've been married for 2 years, and still get that once in awhile. It could be anything...it could be too rough, you could have cysts inside like a lot of people I know have. Just be careful!! If it keeps happening and you are worried, talk to a Gynecologist, they will give you the best reasons for it over the phone~
