For about 5 days every month the uterus sheds the blood-filled lining it prepared that month. That lining was in preparation for a fertilized egg that didn't happen.

The blood usually comes out of the vagina a bit at a time. Sometimes it's slow, and sometimes it's heavier. Girls will use tampons or pads to absorb the blood. They can't control the blood flow like they can control peeing. It just comes out.

She may feel somewhat crampy, tender, bloated and tired for some of that time. Some girls feel pretty much fine, while some have more discomfort.

It doesn't hurt the way bleeding from a wound hurts. The cramps are closer to what you'd feel with diarrhea cramps in your belly, though it's not exactly the same. She may have a lower back ache too.

It kinda s*cks, but we live with it!

A woman's uterus (where the baby grows when she's pregnant) builds up a layer of blood and tissue over the course of a month. If the woman doesn't get pregnant that month, the layer of blood and tissue is shed. It comes out the vagina. It basically just looks like blood. It usually lasts about 5 days for most women, but some women have longer or shorter periods. Some women get abdominal or back cramps during their periods, or feel nauseous, headaches, or muscle aches. It's usually not very fun, but it's not terrible for most women either.

its blood coming out of her vagina...im not going to go into detail about why shes beeding and what not..but she will be a little bit moody and irratable..so be nice to her and surprise her with chocolates or something

Every month a girls body ovulates or releases an egg in order for it to meet the sperm and her to get pregnant. Her uterus [where a baby would grow if she were pregnant] grows thicker inside to prepare incase she does get pregnant. If she does not get pregnant that month then the egg "dies" in a sense and then the thick lining that grew in the uterus dies and comes out.. a process known as "menstruation" or a period. It happens every month, roughly 28 days apart and she may experience mood changes, cramps in her stomach, and she may commonly ask you if "she has anything on her butt".

Just try to be as understanding as possible.

It's very great of you to try to find out information. But don't be afraid to tell your girlfriend you don't know something because it's a learning experience and she can teach you!

okay shes bleeding from her vagina and probably having cramps that's all there is to it.
