Firstly, don't panic!

When you first start your menses, your cycles are not going to be exactly the same length each time. It may take a couple of years before it settles into a predictable pattern. Remember that at 14, your body is still developing and changing. As you grow, change weight, etc., your hormone levels will fluctuate. Your body puts out what it thinks it needs, but it may be wrong some times.

Your cycle runs on a "feedback" system. Your body produces hormones that turn on other hormones and the levels go up and down throughout the month. It's going to be variable for a while, so "go with the flow". :)

What you can do to help figure things out is pay close attention to your body. You will start to learn the signs of where you are in a cycle based on how your body responds. Typically as you get closer to your period, you have water retention, maybe zits show up, some cramping or backache. I always had a bad headache the day before my period when I was a teenager. It got better after a while.

It may be a bit scary, but it really is pretty cool that your body can manage all that stuff without you having to think about it.

at your age you might be still irregular...so don't worry that much...i'm 19 and sometimes my period doesn't come on date :S...once i didn't have my period for 2 months and once i had it twice in a month. So don't worry that much :)

I doubt it's anything to worry about huni periods don't always arrive "on schedule" sometimes they start later, sometimes they are shorter or longer with breaks, sometimes you get the symptoms for weeks but nothing actually happens, just wait I'm sure it'll come, if not go and talk to your doctor =]

you might be underweight or stressing over something because those make you have a late period or just somethimes ur period skips

It is natural for you period to be irregular for the first 2 years from when you start at the most. If it lasts longer than this though you should go see a doctor. When I first started mine would sometimes skip a month. Hope this helps.

pick up something thats really heavy and it should come right on...but if i was u i would be happy its not on because i hate it
