I have an Implanon implant and im due to have it removed - Does it hurt? Im terr!
Question: Usually it's a lot easier than getting it in. Once you have the local anaesthetic, they make a tiny incision and slide it out. The worst bit will be the local, which stings a little bit. But you will have already had that when you got it put in. Have a stiff drink to calm you down before you go in, then eat lots of chewing gum to disguise the smell! Ha ha

Apparently its carried out under local anaesthetic so it shouldn't hurt any more than when it was put in.
