Question: i started bleeding about a week ago and havent stopped since. i thought it was just a period but today the bleeding has started to get really heavy. i had the contraceptive implant put in my arm about six months ago just after i gave birth to my daughter so could it be because of this? it is supposed to make your periods lighter and then eventually stop.

I am an o.a.p. we didn't have such things when I was young only the pill, the coil, and the diaphragm

It doesn't sound right what has happened to you. Sometimes things have to settle down, it could be that.
but in any case,
I would advise a visit to your doctor or family planning clinic about this issue sooner rather than later, to ask the experts.

Dont panic about it.
Book an apoitment with your doctor and tell them you normal dates and stuff. It could be anything. Good Luck
