Has anyone else felt nauseous during your period?!

Question: Just wondering if anyone else has had pretty bad nausea during their menstrual cycles? I was afraid for several days because I my period was late and I was feeling nauseous that I might be pregnant. Then I finally started my period but the nausea hasn't gone away! I have a 7 mo. baby and this is only my second period since I stopped breastfeeding. I have taken at least 10 preg. tests at home (no joke!!) and they have all been neg. but Iam still wondering if I could be pregnant. Any other women feel nausea during period?? I am losing it!!!

Yes, some women have more symptoms while on their period than others. I actually threw up while on mine once. It is a hormone imbalance happening. A lot of women experience all kinds of stomach problems, anywhere from just a tummy ache, to going number 2 a lot, or vomiting! You can go to the gyno, and they can perscribe medication that will help your bad symptoms during that time of the month. Birth control can also help relieve some of those nasty symptoms.... go visit the doctor!!

it is actually very common and has to do with your hormones. if u have painful cramps this could exacerbate the problem. take a painkiller, some anti nausea medication and rest. it should pass in a few days.

yes, I have. And it stinks! As if I needed more to deal with then!

I only feel nauseous during really bad cramps.
If you're at all worried that you may be pregnant though, I suggest going to your gynecologist. They can help you ease your mind. Good luck.
Worrying can make you skip periods. Also continually thinking you are pregnant can make you have pregnancy symptoms.

oh heck ya. Usually with cramps though. It sucks, thats for sure. If you really have doubts, see your OB/GYN. Good luck!
