Anxiety, ultra-sensitive to sounds, smells, no period..hormones to blame??!

Question: I haven't had a period since October. I started chemo in December and before I could take my second round of it in January I found out I was pregnant. I lost the pregnancy after 8 weeks b/c my body couldn't support the twin pregnancy. On February 7th I had a D&C. I still have not had a period. Lately I have been so sensitive to sounds (they all annoy me), smells, and just about anything else gets on my nerves. I'm ultra-sensitive to all environmental factors and today I came home just plain MAD. I feel like maybe hormones are to blame, but I'm not sure. Does any WOMAN have some insight as to why I am so out of wack? I think I should probably call my doctor. I even took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Today is my birthday and I'm just so anxious I am opting to stay home and relax. Why does life seem so overwhelming right now?? I also went from 37.5mg of Paxil to 10 mg of Lexapro around January. I've been feeling great up until the past few days. I don't get it.

i think making an appt with your doctor would be the best thing. it could be your hormones, but it could be that you switched antidepressants too. sorry to hear about the babies.
