How to weigh yourself?!


Question: when is the best time to weight yourself? In the morning or after you eat or when? When would you be at your true weight? When I wake up in the morning my stomach is completley flat but after dinner I look like I did when I was 4 months pregnant does everyone get this?

i believe after a sensible breakfast and before lunch, because when you wake up in the morning you are actually an inch taller as your body resets during the night and when you wake up gravity takes that inch from you again. but the answer i you are looking for is after a sensible breakfast and before lunch because your muscles are burning fat to adjust to your normal size which is why we usually stretch and yawn in the morning. this is your brain telling your body that your muscles are set in place and you need to firm them up for the day. hope this helps and sorry if its a bit lengthy.

oh by the way make sure your scales are level and not on laminate flooring as your result will be wrong.

Yeah - I think we all get a little bloated by the afternoon. The best time to weigh youself is in the morning - first thing with no clothes on. Don't weigh yourself every day - do it once a week on the same day.

you get your true weight when you stand on your bathroom scale.

when you eat, your stomach expands quite abit because of the extra food and stomach acids inside.
the best time to weigh yourself is in the morning when you haven't eaten (make sure you've have done a pooh). sometimes pooh can add an extra kilo or two.

You're supposed to weight your self after you go to the bathroom because then it's your actual weight.

wake up! see if you weigh your self in the morning you have not consumed anything and there for if you have not eaten anything you are likely to have a good weight! :)

Yeah, I know where your coming from. I'd say weigh yourself in the morning cause weighing yourself with food in your system is adding weight to your body.

I would say breakfast but my mom's Doctor says right before lunch and after breakfast

You just need to be consistent I think. Maybe set a particular time to do it, so that if you ever are weighing yourself you can compare it to last time, and it would be relatively imilar dietry habits due to the time of day.
