Help! Birth Control pill killed my sex drive!?!
Question: Anyone else notice this while on the pill? Are there any that don't have this side effect? What can I do to increase my libido in the mean time?

I was on the Depo Provera shot for three months, then I took a long break, then went on Ortho Tricyclen Lo for two months and quit all together. I couldn't take it. Depo not only killed my sex drive entirely, I didn't want to even be affectionate. Nothing. Not to mention whenever I'd decide to have sex at all, it was painful as hell. Then when I went on Ortho, it killed my sex drive entirely again, and when I did have sex I didn't feel anything. It was as if birth control completely numbs me out.
I can't help you with increasing your libido, but i'll tell you birth control is notorious for killing women's sex drive...it sucks.

Talk to your doctor and switch to a different type of pill.
Wait for the end of the bunch of pills.....it might vary week by week and some weeks you might be horny as heck. If you still don't like them, talk to the nurse/doctor who wrote you the prescription and see if there is another birth control pill that will work better for you. Meanwhile let your boyfriend try new things to get you interested, such as massages or cuddling or more "romantic" sex....you might find this gets you going.
I have not encountered this problem.....but you must ask doctor to change pills as there are some pills that can make this occur in certain women...or try an IUD....nothing to remember there...

This is a common problem with almost all women that are on birth control pills. I have been in this situation and it's not fun. I tried working out/exercising and dieting and nothing worked.
