Blood stained underwear?!

Question: My period is extremely heavy. It goes through a tampon and a pad, and so all my underwear are stained. Does anyone know of any ways that remove theses stains? I have tried all sorts of things but nothing seems to be working. Pleas help, thank you!

wear your stained ones for your periods only and go out and buy some pretty ones for normal days those nasty stains are nearly impossible to get all the way out

Yes! Oxy-Clean. It's awesome. It removes stains so wonderfully. There is a spray-on kind you can get...just look for it in the cleaning supplies section of a grocery store.

"spray and wash"..

should do the trick :)

Wash them in cold water and Woolite as soon as you can.. the sooner the more likely the stain will come out. If white, bleach.

i heard salty water wear black underwear not light when time of month too

Lemon juice and cold water.. or bleach if the panties is white.. =D

aww I'm sorry! If their white bleach? I would try zout etc and soak them in the stain remover ASAP. Also change your pads and tampons more often? I'm sorry. you should see a doc to make sure it's not too heavy

If I were you, I'd buy new underwear.

well as soon as you see the stain, take them off and soak them in hot water. club soda takes blood out of anything like magic. try wearing darker underwear too so its not so noticeable...
its not good that its so heavy like that either, girl! If its always this heavy, consider going on birth control to make your periods lighter (thats a big reason why a lot of girls go on it) because i know that is a veeeery annoying problem.
but yeah. try to club soda and avoid light undies on your period.
rub the club soda into the stains and soak them in water. don't let the stain sit too long bc it will be harder to remove .

I work in dialysis and therefore sometimes blood can get on out patients clothing, the best way that we have gotten it out is using hydrogen peroxide, the one you find at the store in the brown bottle. It works really good at getting the blood out and does not discolor your clothing.

Hydrogen peroxide. the little chemicals that don't like germs don't like blood either! Put some hydrgen peroxide on where its bloody. Let sit for 15 minutes and then soak in hot water. once they're out of the wash they'll be good as new. It's a solution thats easy, and everyone has the means to do it!

I normally just throw them out if that happens.
Try wearing two tampons, if it's not uncomfortable for you, and change them more frequently, every hour or two.

Hydrogen peroxide works on fresh blood stains. But why dont you where certain under wear when you are on your period. That would probably save a lot of time, energy and undies!
