We had been trying for 5 yrs. Just found out that both of my step daughters were expecting. Changed our minds and gave up. 2 weeks later, found out that I had joined the ranks. My reaction was......... I don't remember, because I fainted!

being pregnant is so hard to explain...first, you have constant nausea (with or without vomitting), then your breast swell, and they are so tender the thought of a bra will bring you to tears. Next, you have to surrender what seems like all of the blood in your body for testing, not to mention monthly dr appointments, you stay tired, hungry, and emotional. Then in the 3rd trimester, you begin feeling pain like you've never had, then when you think it's getting better, you might just survive, real labor hits! OMG, there is no way to describe the pain you are experiencing, in your back, your belly, your groin, your legs, it seems like your whole body is going to explode (secretely, u wish it would!), then, you have to push at least a 6-7lb football with arms and legs out your you know what!

Then, they lay the most perfect and beautiful creature in your arms, and you totally forget all of the misery you have gone through in the last 9 months!!

I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
IT IS WONDERFUL!!!!

Scared to death. I almost fainted. Not that I didn't want this baby I did dearly. I never thought I would have children and here I was pregnant! It was the best scare I ever got. And being pregnant is the weirdest most wonderful thing ever. Its like being taken over by a alien creature. Its not like being weighed down exactly either. It kind of changes your centre of gravity and makes you feel squashed and wide.

I love both my children, second one was a surprise - I was very scared , but excited. I hated being pregnant- i got huge & felt even bigger, i gained alot of weight. heartburn was horrible, I snored louder than my husband, hurts pretty bad when a foot gets rammed into places it should not be...BUT at the same time it was an incredible experience, personaly i don't want to go through it again, however i am so very grateful I was given the opertunity twice. kids are a blessing and getting through the pregnancy is a very tough job, thats why women do it!
