No, I was worried too, but instead I just carried one or two pads in my backpack (you could put them in a purse, I don't carry a purse though). I ended up not even getting my period during school, but since then I have gotten it unexpectedly at school. I just went to the bathroom and put a pad on. Usually, even if you are without a pad for a while after you first get your period, you'll be okay, because your first period will be light and will not go through your underpants in a short amount of time.

u could wear a pantiliner if u r worried and can carry a pad in ur backpack so u don't have 2 go 2 the school nurse or go home 2 get one.

you should just in case because if you start you can get stained and trust me you dont want that to happen to you
i say you should try diffrent kinds and sizes of pads and then wear the one you most feel comfortable with ooh and you should have extra pads with you at always

you dont need to bother. When you period first starts you should be able to notice it before it gets heavy as it generally starts off very light. good luck xxx

you can wear a panty liner but thats what i was told too and it did not come untill a year later of what i was told

Your doctor was guessing.

Don't wear a pad to school.

If you want, wear panty-liners. Put some pads in your bookbag or whatever, so, when you do start, you're set.

Kind is really a matter of individual preferences. Once you've started, you can experiment with different brands and types until you settle on what you like.

The panty-liner will prevent anything showing, will catch the first of it. When it gets stained, put in a pad at that point.

You might not even need a pad at first, as the first is often light.

Expect it not to be regular at first, either.
