How can you get your back to pop ( from tailbone to neck) during pregnancy?!

Question: I've been to the chiropractor, and he won't do anything because it's multiples, and he isn't sure about the positions of the babies, even though my doc has offered to consult with him and I have ultrasounds every month. ANYWAY, the point.... back is aching horribly, doc thinks I need a chiro.. but can't get one til after birth. Suggestions?

Although, the commenter above explained very well how to crack your back when your NOT pregnant, it is a little different when pregnant, especially with multiples. I have this problem too. What I do is I lay on the floor, put my arms over my head and stretch out a bit to relax the muscles, put arms down, then slowly turn to each side. Sometimes you get a pop, without straining the muscles or putting your babies at risk. I know your busy with your other children, but maybe you can slip away for a nice bath in the evening to help alleviate the strain those twins are putting on your body. Maybe you can try a different chiro? And Tylenol may help. Just a couple suggestions. Good luck and I hope you start to feel better!

lay on the bed on your side. pull your hips back while pressing your shoulders forward (twisting your body so that your chest is on the bed, and your butt is on the bed). this is the only way i can pop my back by myself. sometimes i have my fiance twist me for me if its not poping so well. after twisting one way, i usually twist the other way in case i missed any

or, when youre sitting in a chair, lock your feet around the front legs, then twist and grab the back of the chair and keep twisting around (keeping your feet locked in front). its good for getting the middle of the back.
