Physical test!!?!

Question: im 18 years old and i was on the shot for about 6 months and tomorrow im supposed to take a physical tomorrow at the same place i got the shot. When I had received my shots I had some type of card that was free. This time I'm gonna use my insurance for the physical. Is it possible that they'll say something about that, because my mom is tagging along, and I'd prefer if she didnt know anything about the BC (you know how mothers get).
And since I am sexually active, will they make me take a pregnancy test and do a pap smear( my last one was 6 months ago) I really dont want my mom to find out.

they shouldn't mention anything when you go to the clinic since you are 18. if this is a physical for school or a sport then they probably will not do a pap, but if it is for medical reasons then there is a possiblity a pap could be involved. either way you go the physician, nurse or anyone else can not tell your mother whether or not you are sexually activity based upon your exam. they would be violating patient-doctor confidentiallity. the only way your mother really could find out is if she goes snooping around or if your doctor/nurse is unethical.

so basically what I am saying is that you really shouldn't have to worry about anything because of your age and also the doctor would be violating your privacy.

hope this helps to calm you down.

the real question is why dont you want your mom to find out. You are 18 you are an adult and can do whatever you want
