Phentermine, Does anyone know whether it really works? It's a weight loss pi!

Question: Definitely works. My boyfriend has been using Duramine (Phentermine base) for almost two months and has lost 15kgs.
My doctor has just prescribed me Duramine as well and I have been on it for 8 days and already noticing it.
It takes away hunger - thoughts of it, wanting to do it, everything but it does leave you quite thirsty. It also speeds up your metabolism so your heart rate will go up slightly.

It doesnt keep me awake at night as some people claimed it would, in fact my first couple of days on it I had the best night sleep ever. And Im not dead to the world when I have to get up in the morning.

The thing is, if you use this you still need to combine it with excercise and reasonably healthy eating. You cant be stuffing your face with KFC and expecting it to work whilst you sit on your butt.

I am not doing this for vanitys' sakes - I am doing this in order to shed some weight before I get myself pregnant as I really cant afford to put more on during that time.

If you have high blood pressure, your doctor wont prescribe it for you.
It is important to understand that whilst you can buy this stuff over the web, you really have no idea what youre getting whereas if you actually have a doctor prescribe it for you, you are getting the real thing and only if he sees fit to give it to you.

I actually dont think Phentermine is legal in a lot of countries for all sorts of reasons..however I thank my lucky stars that I am an Aussie and its legal here.

Hope my input helped you some.

Yes it really does work with a change in your every day diet, and regular excercise. Good luck finding a doc that will prescribe it though.

It works temporarily. Your body builds a type of resistance to it. Then you are back to square one. It is also difficult to sleep while under its effects.

You lose 1-2 lbs a week ......and thats w/o diet or exercise, you have a lot of energy, and a suppressed appetite. The only problem is that it makes you very jittery and this can sometimes be uncomfortable, so one day you will get tired of feeling "weird" and stop taking it like I did. But I would recommend trying it, because will lose weight, you can always stop if u dont lik 'em.
