Abnormal period, help?!

Question: My periods are always like this - I bleed for 2-3 days, stop 1 day and then bleed one more day. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this?

I am 23 and I have regular cycles.

if it happens every time, it's normal for you. :) there's a wide variance in menstruation.

if you're stressed out then that's normal. because if you are stressed, your hormones get hay wired due to the stress response of your body, thus resulting in the absence of your menstruation for a day, then it will come back, then stop.

but if that's not the case, i suggest that you go see a doctor, especially if during your period, you're also experiencing dysmenorrhoea or painful menstruation. :)

I don't think any woman really has a regular period. Do you use birth control? If not, try getting on birth control to regulate your period. But if you only have a period for a total of 4 days, then I wouldn't complain too much, as some women have it for 7 days (heavy).
