It takes a few months for your body to completely get used to being on the pill and get completely used to being on a regulated cycle. If you usually get cramps on your 3rd day, you probably still will until your body is used to being
controlled by the birth control pill hormones. Once you are regulated you will experience, shorter, lighter and hopefully pain free periods, but remember it does take atleast 2-3 cycles of pills to see the results not just 3 pills. I've been on the pill for 8 years now and love it. I wish I had started sooner, Good luck and I hope you feel better.

i never had problems with my pill while having a cyst i also get ovarion cysts which get bad (to the point they rupture) as a matter of fact i have one now the cramps have been going on for 11 days so far.All you need is time for the pill to take affect. The pill should not be causing the pain its probably side effects of the cyst im me if you have any ?'s Leesa_marie_dickens@yahoo.com
