Do any other women notice they feel funny round this time of year?!

Question: I have had emotional and social problems since I was around 12-13. I reckon it is partly down to hormones. I suffer panic attacks and mental health problems too now, and these always get loads worse at the wrong time of the month. My doctor has always been unsympathetic, but I have noticed that not only do I get worse monthly, but every spring time I start feeling light headed and funny, which in turn makes me more anxious. I swear it must be hormonal. It really affects me, so I need some help but the doc won't listen. Have any doctors out there heard of this? Would the pill help? What sort of pills are there?

Yeah, I know how you feel, I always get more panic attacks durring this time of year... I usually just take gravol and go to bed, curl up with a blanket wraped tight around me and hug my teddy bear and cry until I fall asleep... thats the best thing I found you can do...

omg yeh im proper stressed a lot of the time nd snap at people ;S

Oh i definitely feel the exact same!!!! doctors don't give a crap either, so annoying. their just like suck it up. not sure if the pill helps but fresh air always does

i all ways feel worse in the winter because of the dark evenings. iv changed Dr because she wasn't sympathetic and now I'm with a GP who understands, there isn't much he can do for me as I'm under my local mental health team but i don't feel judged every time i have to see him. please consider getting a better Dr xx

I have been known to be a little crazy in the spring time too. It's never anything painful or insane, I just feel different too. This is probably too much info, but I just feel plain horny in the spring going into summer. I always have sex when I really shouldn't! I'm not married and I don't have a boyfriend..... just so I can justify the sex thing. The pill might help for hormonal imbalances. There are a million different kinds of pills, just go to the gyno and ask them which one might be best for you.... or ask for one that might calm down these spring feelings.

Im not sure about the time of the year, but im alway stressed and sleepy after work. I need a nap all the time. Maybe you have low blood pressure as you get light headed alot.

You have the same thing as me which is called seasonal moods...I am a diagnosed manic depressent, was not diagnosed as bipolar but sometimes suffer similar symptoms...and like you i have had to battle depression since and early age then got a nervous breakdown at 18 a year after my first son was born, but thank god i fought hard and won my life back, but out of everything the hardest ive found to cope with is the panick attacks and like you i have been getting all light headed and panicky again more so then usual, at the moment I am bordering on pneumonia, im taking Klacid 500mg (severe infection pack) since today and that has made me even worse,

Sorry i got carried away, but o most certainly the pill could work wonders for you if your condition IS down to hormones but if not I found lexepro excellent for the panick, I came off them because of getting pregnant, baby is 2half now and still off them hopefully we both can over come this month of the year. ha,ha, but anyhooo get on to your doc asap bout the pill. Ill say a prayer the pill works for you because i wouldnt wish it on an enemy,,,,
