I hate my doctor, lol. Could I still be preggo or not?? Please read?!
Question: So on Monday after I officially missed my period, I went to the doctors because my HPT's were coming back negative. She examined my stomach, listened to all my symptoms and said you're pregnant but lets just get a blood test to confirm it. Well they called me back today and said that the blood test was negative. Now Im really depressed because I wanted to be pregnant. Could I still be pregnant and have a negative blood test?? If so, is there still hope??
Well technically i missed my period. If you go by a 28 day cycle then yeah, i missed my period but if go by a 32 day cycle then my period would be due tomorrow or friday. I either have 28 or 32 day cycles. If I was suppose to be having a 32 day cycle, could the blood test still be negative if I am infact pregnant??
Someone please help. Any and all answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wait a few more days and if you still haven't gotten your period then check back with your doctor and have another blood test.
A blood test is the most accurate way of telling if you are pregnant. If it came back negative, you are not pregnant.
Blood tests and urine tests usually determine if one is preganant by a specific hormone that is released when a woman becomes pregnant. It is possible that your body has only recently conceived and has not had time to make the hormone. However, I have heard that tests at doctors office are 10x more sensitive to this hormone than over the counter stuff, so its unlikely you could get by without it showing up in the test. You could just be late on your period, but only time will tell. I would wait 5 more days and then go to a doctor's office (maybe not the same doctor since you hate them) and get another test.
