for starters, CALM DOWN. Then you can find a nice time when your brothers are gone. Then you can tell your mom. It wont surprise her, just shock her that her little girl is growing up. Good luck! I just got mine like 3 months ago!
call her to your room tell her you need help with homework
just tell your mom "i had my first period." not in front of your brothers. moms usually get all excited when they find out. its not really a big deal. just let her know, because its kinda importent your parents know ? ha.

just go to her and tell her you need to talk to her by yourself.. pull her aside and tell her whats going on.. its normal to be scared.. I was.. got mine when I was 11.. just be calm..she'll understand...
You should tell your mother. Ask her if she was a spare moment because you want to have a private word with her and take it from there. Don't be scared she is female after all and since you are 13 she will be expecting this moment to come sometime.
Haha, when I told my mom, she was going to walmart. And she asked if I needed anything.
And I was just like
"uhh yeah. can you get me some apples? tampons, too."
She started crying and was all "OHH YOU'RE GROWING UP SO FAST"
but yeah my mom's a nerd. XD
And if she has any heart at all, she won't tell your brothers. Haha.
